Inspired by the teaching and example of Jesus Christ, "Whenever you took care of the least important of these brothers of mine, you did it to me", it is the aim of the Friends of the Homeless in Fareham and Gosport to provide support for anyone in the area who is homeless, at risk of becoming homeless or in a crisis situation

- by providing a centre where practical help (food, toiletries, clothing) is available in a welcoming and caring environment and each person is valued and respected as an individual.
- by encouraging and assisting homeless people in their search for accommodation.
- by working in partnership with other voluntary and statutory agencies to continually improve and develop facilities for homeless people and those in need in the Fareham and Gosport area.
- by raising awareness in the whole community of the problems homeless people have to face, in order to effect positive change.
